Set a precise hour and minute with our free online alarm clock and use it as a convenient alarm directly in your web browser. When your selected alarm time is reached, an on-screen alert banner will appear and your chosen alarm sound will play.

Before setting your alarm, use the Test button to preview the alert and make sure the alarm sound is playing at a comfortable volume.

You can also personalize the appearance of the online alarm clock by changing the text color and text size. Your display preferences are saved automatically, so they will be available the next time you open the alarm clock in your browser.

How the Online Alarm Clock Works

The browser-based alarm clock runs directly in your web browser without requiring any app installation. Provided the tab remains open, it tracks time continuously using your device's internal clock.

For the alarm to trigger on time, keep your browser tab active and ensure your computer or phone does not go into sleep or standby mode. Devices in sleep or background lock mode suspend browser activity, which will delay the alarm sound until the screen is awakened.

How to Use the Online Alarm Clock

1. Click Set Alarm (or select a preset time) to customize your time, sound tone, title, and repeat settings.
2. Select your hour, minute, and sound preferences in the alarm editor window.
3. Click Start to activate your alarm. Keep this tab open to ensure the sound plays on time.
